30A Songwriters Festival – Take 2

The second night of the fabulous 30A Songwriters Festival rolled on with non-stop amazing performances at venues like Rosemary Beach Town Hall, Caliza Pool at Alys Beach, Bud & Alley’s, Fish Out of Water, Shorty’s, Stinky’s and Bluz. Here are a few of the snapshots I was able to get, despite the crowds everywhere and constant drizzle. It was amazing! Such intimate performances and great talent. I loved every bit of it!

Shower Style

The wedding countdown is on! I can’t believe it’s less than two weeks away — I feel so unprepared! Some of the really fun parts of the time leading up to the big day are going to all the showers. The food is always cute and the drinks are always tasty! (Of course, as the MOH, I also have a very important job of writing down who gave what.)

Here are a few of the fashions:
From Left: BCBG dress with J. Crew belt, Deja Vu dress (from the Seaside store), LuluVia dress (from 96 Degrees in Seagrove)

From Left: Forever 21 dress, White House l Black Market dress (from Destin Commons) with yellow belt from Beach Buzz in Rosemary Beach.

Fun, fun, fun!

My Big Black & White Clutch

I’m already in love with my new black and white envelope clutch from Deja Vu in Seaside (and Pier Park). Of course the color combo never goes out of style, but the fact that it’s oversized makes it much more practical for carrying the essentials out and about. It’s so classic! This bag just reminds me of my grandmother who was always so fashionable and loved to say when she was younger that she wouldn’t be caught dead without a pair of heels on. Any pair would be perfect with this clutch!

Deja Vu is Online!

I’m so excited! Deja Vu is now up and running online! I LOVE this boutique and now I can scout out my favorite pieces on their website shopwithdejavu.com. There’s even a little birdie that flies across the screen like the little ones that live in the store. So cute. You can tell spring is right around the corner and they just got in tons of bright new clothes. Also, when you click for the detail on any item, you get a little description with ideas of what to pair it with or where to wear it. Love it! Now go to Seaside and see for yourself.
