Another labor of love complete, y’all. I’m so excited to share the latest issue of the 30A Street Style e-zine with all of you. This is one of my favorite times of year, as we all get ready for the busy spring and summer seasons ahead. I worked so hard to try to capture that buzz and excitement through style. Take a look and read through the issue to fall in love with fresh fashion from 30A and beyond. I’d love to hear what you think!
Okay, I lied. They’re not all under $100, but seven out of eight isn’t bad. My obsession with gold continues as I’ve been searching for the perfect metallic pump. While I’ve been leaning toward yellow gold in other things like jewelry and decor, I kind of like the silvery shade of the ones toward the bottom. And gold sequined shoes? Stop. I think I’m in trouble. Which ones are your favorite?
BCBG Paris Jaze Metallic d’Orsay Pump $59.95
Kate Spade Jess Pump $298
Boutique 9 Pacey Pump $59.95
Sam Edelman Celia $50
Forever 21 Disco Darling Pumps $30
Corso Como Adhere $67
Nine West Gold Sequin Pump $80
Badgley Mischka – Humbie – Glitter Platform Pump
$200 SALE $100
Though holiday celebrations and new year’s toasts are wrapped, I can’t seem to get enough sequins and sparkle. I love the idea of jazzing up everyday casual styles with a little bling so I’ve been searching for another sequin top that I can dress up or down. The ideal top is one that could be at home on the playground with jeans and flats or paired with pants or a skirt for work. I like keeping the palette neutral and the material basic so the sequins stand out in a simple way. Here are a few favorites under $50 that I’m mulling over.

Emery is rocking the boyfriend jeans look today. Also known as “need-to-do-laundry-so-let’s-wear-jeans-you-haven’t-grown-into-yet” look. What do you think?
I’m a happy, happy girl today! Have you ever experienced a magical moment of synergy? When something so impulsive and spur-of-the-moment becomes something amazing and exciting? It was an idea that popped up out of nowhere, “Hey, let’s make a magazine. Wouldn’t that be fun?” That’s essentially how the very first issue of 30A Street Style came about on a whim this summer. Sometimes recreating those totally awesome unplanned moments don’t always work and I’ve been trying to organize the follow up to what was an out-of-the-blue debut. We had so much positive feedback and enthusiasm that I didn’t want to put out a second e-zine unless it was as good or better than the first. What eventually came together is an issue that I truly love and am so proud of. It has fashion. It has real people. It has our gorgeous beaches. It has usable tips. And (I think) it has fun. At the very least, I had fun creating it. I was lucky enough to chat with the lovely Cassie Kelley of Womanista, the talented Mychael Knight of Project Runway, local blogger Sarah Powers of Closetini and put together plenty of fun fashion with my girl Caitlyn Ward. Please take a moment to check it out and let me know what you think. Click here to jump to the full e-zine.
Maybe it’s the fact that the holiday season essentially starts now or just that these are so pretty and sparkly. Either way, sequin skirts are just irresistible.

I’m normally one to rock a soft neutral lip or a girly pink, but my new navy and red blouse was enough to send me straight to the red lip zone. I actually found a red lipstick I’d purchased this time last year and used just once. It was a near-perfect match to the fiery orange-red of the dark floral print of this top and I even applied it in the car with just the rearview mirror. The vividness is a lot for my normal look, but I kind of love it. I also adore pairing navy and black together so I wore jeans and my tried-and-true black suede pumps with this look to dress it up a bit. It’s hard to tell but the blouse has a faux-leather patch on the shoulder. Even better? It’s a total bargain. Scroll down for the link!

Since I snagged this printed dress at Zara a few weeks ago, it’s been on constant rotation. I love the colors and the print, which is the perfect mix of country and bohemian. It makes this piece so versatile. I’ve worn it as a swim coverup, as a casual dress with flats and now, as a slightly more dressy look with heels. It’s still about 95 degrees every day at the beach so having something light and stylish goes a long way. I can definitely see this dress stretching into fall!
